Privacy

This acquisition page collects only the email address you enter, your explicit consent record, and limited source and technical information needed to operate, protect, and measure the subscription system. It does not ask for sensitive psychological or health information.

What is stored

The system stores your normalized email, consent text and version, consent time, subscription status, source and campaign parameters when present, email-delivery status, Meta event status, Substack import status, and operational timestamps.

Service providers

Vercel hosts the application, Neon stores the Postgres record, and Resend sends the welcome email. Meta receives a Lead event after the database accepts the consented subscription. That server event can include a one-way SHA-256 hash of the normalized email plus browser identifiers, IP address, and user agent when available. The browser Lead uses the same random event ID for deduplication and is not sent the email address.

Explicitly consented active addresses may be exported in a protected CSV for manual import into Substack. Test records are excluded from the default export.

Logs and secrets

Application logs are designed to exclude raw email addresses, IP addresses, user agents, cookies, authorization headers, and secret values. Credentials are server-side environment variables and are not intentionally exposed in browser code.

Your choice

Every owned welcome email contains a signed unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing marks the database record inactive so it is excluded from future active exports. You may later subscribe again only by giving explicit consent again.
